Visit the Art Nouveau Palmenhaus, which literally means palm housem an out of the ordinary greenhouse with lots of greenery around you. Originally built in 1822, the Palmenhaus was rebuilt in 1901 as a Jugendstil greenhouse and eventually converted into a café-restaurant. It now boasts of a glass roof which makes for a romantic dinner setting.
For one week this February, Vienna’s restaurants will be put on the spotlight as the city celebrates the Vienna Restaurant Week.
Starting on Valentine’s Day, February 14, until the 20th, top restaurants in the capital city of Austria will bring down their prices for two-course lunches and three-course dinners. At lunchtime, you can enjoy some of your favorite two courses at only 12.50 Euro and for only 25.00 Euro for your three-course dinner.
