Austrian Grand Prix Needs Muses

The Austrian Grand Prix is scheduled in July this year and in line with this, some pretty grid girls are needed to serve as muses during the event. To qualify for the search for the 50 Formula Unas, interested ladies must be pretty, charismatic and energetic.

For the grand prix, the young women who will be lucky to be selected will wear the traditional Dirndl dres of Austria. They will be tasked to hold up the flags, help at presentation ceremoniese and represent Austria at the parties.

The Formula Una must be at least 18 years old and above, have an interest in racing, proficient in English and must be able to serve during the Formula 1 weekend. Applications will be accepted until May 3 only.

Interestingly, this is the first time in almost 10 years that the F1 Grand Prix will take place in Austria. The last which was featured in the A1-Ring occured in 2003. Since 1997, the F1 had been a yearly event in the country until the circuit was bought by Red Bull in 2004. A deal was reached in 2013 to revive the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring.

In its early days, this event was held at two locations in the Zeltweg area, south of Austria. Initially in 1963, it took place at an airfield then in 1969, a permanent race track was built called the Osterreichring which then hosted the Formula One in 1970. The track was utilized for 17 years after which it was abandoned for 10 years.
