Villa Aurora

If a relaxing tour outside Vienna’s city center is what you’re after, Villa Aurora should be in your itinerary.

Constructed in 1785, Villa Aurora is a house situated on a hill in the Vienna Woods. It features a graden and a dining terrace offering beautiful nature views. Regardless of the season, this tourist spot is always a great place to visit and spend even a few hours together with your companion or family and friends.

During winter time, a natural ice skating rink can be enjoyeod while a cozy dining experience awaits visitors inside the house through the warmth provided by wood-burning ovens. During the hot summer months, visitors can go on a picnic in the hills. Advanced reservation (preferably two days ahead), though, is required so the restaurant can prepare your basket  before you arrive.

There are other features that make Villa Aurora a real attraction. For example, there’s an empty painting frame available in the garden. The purpose is to allow visitors to capture a framed photo of Vienna while there.

There’s also the Arche Aurora which is a transplated old fishing trawler.  A white sofa and vintage chairs are in place as well outside to let visitors enjoy the beautiful views of nature.

For those who fancy other interesting areas nearby, a garden house called Flora is located within the premises of Villa Aurora while the old mountain farm house called Wolkenkuckucksheim feautres a bowling alley.
